I have felt called by my ancestors for most of my life. Coming from a muslim upbringing made this very confusing. I never heard about the word ancestors. When I finally heard about the ancestors, it filled me with trepidation. This terrain is filled with myths and fear. It is full of stories of possession and possession states. I had to experience and learn about all these states without any prior knowledge given. I curated this offering to demystify this field of the ancestors infusing it with my indigenous knowledge systems. I offer to hold space for the difficult subjects of possession and possession states so that you can be empowered to step over the blocks that may prevent you from being in a healthy relationship with your own ancestors. May our collective ancestors look kindly upon this sacred offering.
